Kind of interesting that United States of America is spelled out but USSR just uses the abbreviation. Maybe a space issue but they give two lines to the UK.
There also in alphabetical order except for Greece (listed 1st because it’s the Olympics, presumably.) and Australia (last for being the host, I guess.)

don’t know why they did the abbreviation, but you are correct for why Greece first/Australia last
